Brent & Mike Expose Popular Christian Myths

How much of life/God/living do you have all figured out? As you continue to live, are you convinced that you’re learning more & more or are you convinced that the longer you live, the less you actually know for sure? MYTHBUSTERS is a 10 week small group discussion exploring several different Christian myths (myths propagated & spread in churches & other faith circles).

The problem with a myth is that it spreads false or partially false information that can damage or destroy the faith of the hearer, presenting a false reality that destroys big chunks of life at the very least, & destroys life altogether at the worst.  We’ll be having an informed (bring a Bible) discussion.

Anyone can come.

Anyone can post.

Bring your opinions.

Bring your doubts.

Be ready to discuss all of it. No ambushes here - your opinions will be respected.

• When & Where? Sunday nights at Good Shepherd Church back in the prayer room is where we will meet for now.
• Which myths? What are the topics? We’ll post them on here week to week before the discussion. Maybe we can have an online discussion before our offline discussion.
• Where are you going with all of this? Hopefully iron will sharpen iron and we will all be closer to truth as a result. If not, maybe we will all be closer to each other as a result.
